If you or anyone you know can help me get to London to do my Masters, (large or Small) I would be so grateful :)
Auckland
From a very young age I have been passionate about acting.
Early on in High School I decided I wanted it to be my career, and from then on I made a choice to never have a 'plan B'. I have always been aware of how hard and competitive the industry is, but my dream has never faded, and if anything, the challenge has made me work harder.
Following a rigorous audition process, I moved to Australia when I as 18, and have just completed a three year Arts Degree in Acting at Federation University, Victoria. This was a big move for me to leave my family, friends and everything I had ever known, but I pushed aside my fears and took the leap. I can honestly say It was the best decision of my life to date.
Having completed my Degree, I was encouraged by my lecturers to further my studies overseas. In January I went to Sydney to attend the global auditions for the prestigious Royal Central School For Speech and Drama-University of London. This university has produced many high profile actors including Dame Judi Dench, Dawn French, Andrew Garfield and Graham Norton. Professionals in their field that I look up to and admire. Auditioning for this was daunting and fiercely competitive, but I was excited and humbled when I was offered a place to study the one year, full time Masters in Acting for Screen course at Royal Central!
Excited doesn't even begin to explain how I am feeling about this news. It is a huge opportunity for me to expand my knowledge, hone my craft and be exposed to important people who can help me further my career.
I have one hurdle in my path however, and that is the immense financial commitment that I am now faced with. I have been incredibly fortunate to have had so much support from my family. They were the reason I was able to do my Arts Degree and I am forever thankful to them for making it possible for me to study overseas. This next step requires help beyond the support I already have from my family.
School fees alone are $36,000, and associated costs of a year living in central London will be expensive. We have calculated that $70,000 will cover most of these expenses, which is why my target is set at this amount.
I have set up this "Give a Little" page in the hope that some of my friends and the wider community will be able to support me and share my story. I am working as hard as I can to raise sufficient funds in other areas but if you, or anyone you know can help, (large or small) I would be so grateful and it will mean the world to me. :)
Funds will go towards Flights, Accommodation and my School Fees

To all of the cheeky people who have generously donated anonymously.. I'm not sure how to get in touch with 'guest donor' but I am thankful !
If you are reading this and think you might know an organisation or someone who could help me out, please let me know so I can get in touch with them, or send them my link!
