Help sailors with all forms of disability get to the Hansa World Championships!

Wellington

Sailability Wellington is a charitable trust providing sailing opportunities for people with any form of disability in the greater Wellington region.

We need your help to get our sailors to the Hansa Worlds in Sydney, March 24th -28th 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on the world's best and showcase the incredible ability of our team. A number of our sailors hold national titles, and this is an opportunity for them to take their sailing to the next level and inspire future generations.

Competition costs are massive, expenses range from flights for sailors and support teams, meals, transportation, accommodation, boat hire, and entry fees. The squad are already fundraising, but it's a challenging time as many of the traditional routes won't support international events.

The team really needs your backing to get to the starting line.

Any funds raised on this page will be distributed across the team members needing support.

About us

Founded in 2002, Sailability Wellington is the largest sailing program for people with disabilities in New Zealand. Operating across three sites in the Wellington region and sailing up to 6 days per week.
