My sister Portia Johnson has recently been selected to represent New Zealand in swimming at the Special Olympics World Summer Games in Abu Dhabi in March 2019. She has been a part of Special Olympics swimming for around 10 years now and has competed in multiple competitions over that period. It's a massive opportunity for her to be selected for this however there is a major cost involved which is to be expected. We have decided to set this page up to hopefully help my sister raise some of the funds that are required to get her over there. This is a great opportunity for her and we want to make it the best experience that we can.

My sister Portia has been selected to represent New Zealand at the Special Olympics Summer World Games in March 2019. However it costs a fair amount to get over there hence starting up this page to hopefully fund raise to help her get there.

Use of funds

The money raised will be spent on her flights, accommodation, food etc things that are necessary for her trip to be successful. Any excess funds will be donated to Special Olympics New Zealand.
