My son Ronan has fallen in love with Rowing at Hamilton Boys High School. It has provided him with meaning, discipline, focus and a wonderful group of friends. Rowing is an elite sport and very expensive to engage in. His standard fees alone are $3000 per year alongside other costs like travel, uniforms etc. During the main season he gets up at 4.20am for 5.45 starts doing river training. He's super dedicated and determined to do his best.
