Help us get Te Hoata back on the road
Raglan, Waikato
If you’ve ever grabbed a coffee from Raglan Roast, chances are you’ve been greeted by Te Hoata — the warm smile behind the counter who brings good vibes and great brews to our town every day.
Last weekend, Te Hoata’s white Ute — which was his pride and joy — was taken from him on Friday night. On Saturday night, the Ute was crashed into a tree by the people who took it and was completely totaled. Tragically, the vehicle wasn’t insured, and now Te Hoata is facing an $800 fee just to retrieve it from the impound. The condition of the Ute is irreparable so he’s forced to scrap it and hit the waewae express everywhere at the minute.
Te Hoata is my Boss
Right now, the priority is recovering the ute to assess the damage. There’s a significant towing fee ($800), and the vehicle will either need to be repaired or replaced. Every little bit helps — let’s show him the same kindness he gives to all of us.
