Support Our Team Towards The Commonwealth Games!
Christchurch, Canterbury
Premiere Equipe Judo Club has been operating for just over 8 years. In that short time, we have amassed an amazing history of athletes representing us on the highest stage.
This year, we have 'done it again' and 4 of our athletes and 1 coach have been selected to represent the country at the Commonwealth Games.

For a club based on the Eastside of Christchurch, having five people selected for the Commonwealth Games is an incredible achievement. And as the team is all amateurs, it has been a lot of sacrifice, both personal and financial to get to this point.
To earn their spots, these self-funded athletes have spent years chasing points across the globe, balancing full-time work and training with international travel. The road to selection hasn't been easy and it's seen them travel to Tahiti, Taipei, Australia, Hong Kong, Morocco, Bulgaria, Serbia and France to chase qualification points and meet the criteria.
This sacrifice has not been theirs alone with family managing the household while they are overseas, and carrying the daily stress of this journey, although this is a individual sport, this has been a collective effort.
Now, we are hitting the final stretch, and we need our community to help us get them across the finish line to let our athletes be best prepared and allow their family to be there with them
I am Jason Koster, proud head coach of the Premiere Equipe Judo Club
