Get this chippy to Nepal!

Kia ora I'm André. Last year I appeared on the home reno show House Rules along with my wife Martinique. At the time I was a self-employed builder and keeping the business afloat alongside making time for my young family was a constant battle. After a pretty dark time in my life I decided to make some big changes - starting with my mahi. The opportunity to work for Habitat for Humanity came up at the perfect time, and I'm loving being part of an organisation that does incredible work to support my community.

This year I am turning 40 and rather than have a party to mark the occasion I would like to put my efforts into fundraising to go to Nepal with Habitat for Humanity Northern to help build and repair homes in the Eastern Region of the country to help local families access a safe and decent place to call home.
