Help my dad visit home

$963 donated
Given by 16 generous donors in 6 weeks

My dad was diagnosed with dementia a year and a half ago and has gone downhill fast. He needs a trip home but I need help to get him there.

Nelson / Tasman

A year and a half ago, my dad was diagnosed with vascular dementia and has gone downhill quite quickly.

Everyday is quite a struggle for him.

All the basic things like getting dressed or shaving, he can no longer do.

He's quite close to having to be in a care home but I believe he needs this trip first.

His birthday is on September 17th, he will be 75.

So as a birthday gift, I want to take him back to where he grew up to enjoy what memories he has left and to visit family.

Thank-you for taking the time to read this and for any donations that are made.

Money that is donated will be used for travel to and from, accommodation and basic day to day living costs.

Approximate goal is around $1300

Travel-$500

Accomodation-$500

General living expenses-$300

Bless :)
