Help get Nathan to Robotics World Champs in Kentucky to represent New Zealand

Students from OHS robotics group are set to take on the world in April, The students were in the winning alliance at the VEX New Zealand 2015 Nationals. The win gives them entry to the VEX World Championships to be held from the 15th to the 18th of April 2015 in Louisville, Kentucky. Nathan's winning team spent nearly a year perfecting the performance of their robot. Teammates Nathan, Jordan and Matthew are proud to carry on a tradition that began when OHS joined the inaugural VEX competition in NZ in 2009 – and culminated in a win at the Worlds Championships in 2012. They would love to replicate this feat – a New Zealand team have been part of the winning alliance at the ‘worlds’ for the past seven years. The dedicated team have spent every spare moment working to perfect the Robot and have it ready for the world competition.

Getting to the 'worlds' doesn't come cheaply. It's estimated each student will need at least $4500. to cover flights, accommodation, travel to and from venue, food, insurance and the list goes on. This doesn't include personal spending money.

We are very proud of Nathan and the team and are frantically trying to raise funds to get the team to Kentucky. What an experience it will be.
