Let's Get Oscar Moving

We are fundraising for Oscar who is 19 months old and has Celebral Palsy. Children with this condition are unable to get a motorised wheelchair until they are approximately 8.

Cole Galloway a prof of Physical Therapy in USA says children who can move independently of their parents and carers increase their spatial awareness and injecting normalcy to socialisation with siblings, peers and authority figures – like teachers. So he started the Go Baby Go initiative.

Oscar is desperately trying to move to keep up with his siblings and friends and by fundraising for him to have a Go Baby Go motorised car with all the adaptations and specifications to meet his exact needs which in turn would help him get around and explore. Trips to the hospital would be easier as would family days out plus making his life fun!
