Getting the Forest School 'New Forest a shed

Joep and Hella Coenen have lived on their beautiful property at the foothills of the Tararua Forest Park over ten years. Their goal and passion is to regenerate the land back into native bush and it is now accessible to groups who have education as their primary focus to experience the beauty of nature. Hella is a trained teacher with a deep love for nature education and has set up the "New Forest School" in 2016. Early Childhood and school groups come to this fabulous outdoor classroom to enjoy the numerous experiences that nature can offer. The mission of the New Forest School is: "Connecting and caring for each other and the living world". The New Forest School is part of Toru Education that provides a range of experiential education opportunities aligning with this mission. Up to this point, Hella and Joep have mostly set up the infrastructure. They gratefully received support to set up the Health and Safety framework last year. We now invite the wider community to fundraise for a much needed shed. The goal of $7000 will cover the cost of a kitset shed and the cost of preparing the site. Thank you!
