RePurpose is a collaboration between two community groups with a passion for waste reduction - Grey Lynn 2030 (greylynn2030.co.nz) and Earth Action Trust (earthactiontrust.org.nz).

We have opened a Community Recycling Centre, located at 20A Alfred Street which is open to the public two days a week - Thursday and Saturday 10am - 3pm for drop off of items and purchase of items in our shop.

Our aim is to collect unwanted items that are in a good condition and find a new home for them. We sell items in 'as is' condition and are also always looking for ways to add value to items and give them new life.

We have commenced a line of gift baskets which can be purchased as a gift that will be donated to a child or family from a refugee background.

Gift Baskets for children in need are a very personal way of letting a child and their family know that people care. We love to help put a smile on a child's face with one of our gift baskets.

By contributing $20 to this page, we will personally give a child or family one of these fabulous baskets that have been put together by the staff at our centre with care and thoughtfulness with clean and good quality new and used items.

Use of funds

The funds will be used to help run our Community Recycling Centre, a non profit organisation which aims to prevent items ending up in landfill, rather reusing or upcycling them.
