Gillian's Celebration of Life: Giving Back to One Who Gave her All.
Gillian Halkett has given her Passion of dance, her everything to everyone. It's time to give back so she can get the sendoff she deserves.
Christchurch, Canterbury
Gillian Halkett, founder of Dance Fitness Christchurch, has spent the last 8 years building something truly special - a community grounded in movement, Joy and Belonging.
Through her passion and 9 classes a week, She's not only inspired so many but has also given back, hosting fundraising events to support others in need.
If you've ever met Gillian, you'll know her smile could light up an entire stage. She welcomed everyone with open arms, creating a space where anybody and everybody belongs.
Sadly, and with disbelief today 21/04/2026 our mighty and brave leader Gillian has gone to dance in heaven.
We would appreciate any donations to help with costs towards Gillians funeral and celebration of life, let's give back to someone who has given so much to others. XX
