Sponsor a room at the Waikato Lions Lodge to support Gizzy whānau undergoing cancer treatment.

On behalf of Gisborne Girls’ High School, the prefects are fundraising to sponsor a room at the Waikato Cancer Society Lions Lodge. Gisborne patients and patients all around Aotearoa, are provided with a relaxing and friendly environment while undergoing cancer treatment. For Gisborne residents, having to travel so far away from home for an extended amount of time and being provided with this outstanding support reduces financial burdens. There is no charge for accommodation or meals at the Cancer Society's Lions Lodge while you are undergoing treatment at the Waikato Regional Cancer Centre. Still, they need outside support to fund these rooms. Everyone is affected by cancer in some way. As a prefect group, we would love to show our thanks to this amazing complex by sponsoring a room covering all maintenance, repairs and other costs for the next five years.
