Give Anke more time- fight against Cholangiocarcinoma

Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone that has supported us in this fight.

With all your valuable contributions we have been able to get Anke's tumour tested. Part of the tumour managed to get a holiday in Boston for a few weeks and the results are back. The biomarker test came back with a couple of gene mutations but there are currently no known treatments available for these. The immunotherapy test was also unfavourable with no effective immunotherapies being available for Anke's cancer.

Whilst the tumour was having a nice break in Boston, Anke has been undergoing chemo for the last 3 months. The latest scan has indicated that it has possibly stalled the progression but the efficacy is likely to wain as treatment continues.

Our only real remaining option if the current regime fails is one other type of chemo.

After that it becomes a trial and error exercise with any of the other available chemos.

Not great news but we can only play the hand that we're dealt.

Thank you again for all the support.

    Wai & Anke

Thank you Wai for this update. I have been wondering how things are going. To say it is not the news I hoped for seems woefully inadequate as I can only imagine what this is like for you and your family. I continue to wish you all the best for any and all treatments that may give some more time and/or relief.
