Hi all, so our update. The new medication continues to work and we continue to get better results in nick in many ways. He is out of bed far more and avke to spend more and more time with the kids, doing v things outside the house. Just recently he was able to attend an o er night Camp with Jack, which was amazing for the both of them. Nick was the cook and loved every bit of helping and spending time with Jack's and his friends. We still continue to raise money for his scripts. We are almost at the end, the end lag is the hardest when you've given everything you had for the race it gets tiring toward the end but definitely worth it in every way. Pic of chef nick at camp. Thank you all for everything you've done for us and continue to do for us. We love and appreciate you all. 🖤

Hi everyone, I haven't updated in awhile as we had some ups and quite a few downs. We paid and collected the script given on the 18th of April that was completed on the 18th of May. Unfortunately at that time nick was denied the next script pending the results of his CT and MRI. We struggled to get these results and answers for two months. We finally got those results back the beginning of July which showed no spread of his cancer, the lenvitanib alongside his keytruda has paused his cancer growth alot like the keytruda did on its own 4 years ago. This is good news and ment that nick could restart his medication again. We picked up this month's script on the 18th. Nick is due an MRI tomorrow. We still have a little way to go before reaching our government subsidy target. In this time nick has been unwell and in a some pain and at times to unwell to get out of bed. We are thankful to have the script back as it did give nick a better quality of life. Having the medication back started to give nick more up days than down though still hurting he's up more this month. He even managed to milk a cow again, which was great for mental health. We appreciate all the help and donations we have received from you here and other people, groups, clubs and churches outside this group, we love you all and are honored by your ongoing support. I am still trying my best with the help of others to continue finding fundraising ideas and other means of raising funds and putting them together.

  • One month of LENVATINIB

      14 April 2023

On the 10th of march we bought nicks first script of lenvatinib ($30,000) treatment, he is due next week for his keytruda infusion. Already we have seen improvement in nicks well-being. He is out of bed more often. The swelling in his jaw has gone down so we are hopeful for the next lot of scans. This week he was able to spend time with his family and sister in law and a niece out at crystal mountain. It was a great day for the kids to have dad outside the house with them! It has been awhile. We feel very blessed with very kind donations from everyone. We are working on Facebook pages to put out more information on nick and awareness of melanoma. Thank you to all.

    From the Wallis family💕
