Too many mums can’t afford groceries. Help Fair Food fill mum’s fridge this Mother’s Day.
Avondale, Auckland
Mother’s Day is a time for mums to be celebrated and pampered. But, for too many mums, it is another day of trying to scrape together a family meal without the support they need.
Thousands of kiwi mums go without food each week to ensure that their children have enough to eat. Hunger is an invisible problem, but it’s happening all around us. 7% of households go a day or more without eating because they’ve run out of food at home.
Fair Food aims to support over 1,000 mums this Mother's Day. For just $10, you can provide a week’s worth of groceries for a mother who needs them.
We partner with transitional housing, domestic violence shelters, and social service groups to share fresh healthy food, so mum can rest.
$10 will get a week’s worth of food to a mum in need
$25 provides fresh kai for 50 meals
$70 shares a week’s worth of kai to 7 mums
$100 provides up to 10 people with a week’s worth of food
You can help provide fresh food to families, especially mothers in need, so they and their children don't have to go hungry this Mother’s Day.
Fair Food brings people together to feed people not landfill. We rescue good food from growers, manufacturers and retailers and redistribute it free of charge to people who struggle to put food on the table. We share enough kai for 35,000 meals a week!
