URGENT: PAKISTAN FLOOD RELIEF - SHARE AND SUPPORT
Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui
Kia ora and As-salamu Alaykum!
Pakistan is in a state of emergency right now. The death toll from the heavy flooding there has reached 1,500 people. There are 33 Million people displaced without shelter. The need of the hour is to help them in whatever way you can.
Incorporated in 1994, PakNZ is the oldest not-for-profit community association representing Pakistanis (and their descendants) in the Manawatū-Whanganui region. We are collecting donations for the flood victims in Pakistan. Please donate as much as you conveniently can. It will help to provide some relief to the people in flood hit areas and rehabilitate them. Please join us in ensuring that no one is left behind by giving what you can to support them.
- $20 can provide vitally needed medicines
- $55 can provide a 30-day food package per person in need
- $100 can provide a much-needed tent to those who have no shelter at all
- $170 can provide a Flood victim support package per person in need to help meet all of those needs.
The donation amount will benefit the victims back home where we all come from.
The donation amount will go into buying Tents, tarpaulin, food and medicines. The money will be sent to individuals who are actually on the ground and volunteering in different parts of the country.
