    Ya we have finally made a purchase with the help of your donations.

    Mum here is seen playing with her new tablet this has an app called Category Therapy which will help with her Global Aphasia. This is a tool which her therapist uses and we waited to see how she goes with it first.

    As she went really well with it we decided to get her a tablet and the app.

    The app is not what she is currently using but still something which would aid in her recovery

  • Update pre xmas

    Hi all so some may know this, Mum has now transferred to Wanganui hospital and on the road to recovery.

    All the critical time has passed now and she is strong and stubborn which is aiding in her recovery.

    The funds have just arrived to us however we are holding on to do something or get something nice for mum with these donations. Once that has been done we will advise on that then.

    Sorry i havent updated for awhile thank you agai for the donations.

    Mum has now moved from the critical ICU back to Neurological ward and they had her sitting in a seat. Alot of speech has gone as she had a stroke but still seems to be progressing due to her strong nature

    Now mum is in the Crtical ICU she has improved alot. Will be still in here for at least a few more days but its the best place for her.

    She has been chirpy at times jumbled up but happy, laughing and being cheeky.

    As said before hasnt been a good day today mum wasnt able to answer her normal questions so had a ct scan. Blood vessels are abit closed which caused vaso spasms which can cause a stroke so shes heading into icu to be more closely watched she seems ok at moment but its a very scary time

    Hi all firstly thank you for the kind donations so far blown away how fast this has happened. We have passed messages on although she forgets pretty quickly.

    Today hasnt been as good as other days she seems to be in abit more pain than usual but to tough and stubborn to admit it. We are hoping its a sign of progression.
