Xmas for mum - Success!!

My daughter created a Givealittle page to raise funds for her brother to visit from Australia so that our family could all be together for Christmas. I want to thank the Spark Foundation for enabling my wish to come true - having all my children together at Xmas. So thank you to you all & I wish you all a happy new year!

My family and I have had the most amazing Christmas ever! I would personally like to thank each and everyone of my family, friends and people unknown who donated to the Spark Foundation Givealittle page to raise the funds for my eldest son to come from Australia. Words can never truly express the gratitude I have, for this to be able to occur.

The family have all gone home now and my heart is heavy - but what bolsters me are the memories now embedded in the very fabric of my home & my heart forever. During the Xmas/New Year weeks my house has bulged at the seams; we have had a little tent city in the back yard and family & friends have shared it all with us. I look around and can see those memories in my minds eye - my youngest granddaughter learning new words, my mum with all her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren out on the deck in the sun on Xmas day laughing & enjoying dinner; fishing, swimming & games nights with everyone - falling into bed ever so tired, but happier than I can remember being in a long time. You ALL made my wish come true and as I start my chemo again, these will be the things I remember that will help me keep fighting this dreaded disease.| My family & I sincerely thank you & wish you all health & happiness in abundance for 2015 & remember - Love, Live & be happy for we never know what is around the corner for us
