Giving back to someone who has given so much
Waiotahe, Bay of Plenty Region
When George and Jodii Cass”s youngest son, Te Manawa, was diagnosed with a rare leukemia the Waiotahe Valley School community wished to support them through this difficult time.
George has devoted many years and so much energy into educating children and coaching at Waiotahe valley school and has certainly made his mark with students past and present.
George has had to take extended leave from his employment as a highly valued teacher at W.V.S in order to provide constant support for Te Manawa as he goes through a period of long and challenging treatment.
Any funds raised will be used to support the daily needs of the family as Te Manawa receives treatment in Starships Hospital in Auckland.
I am a friend of the family. Sian is their sister and Te Manawa's auntie.
