My softball club, the Hutt Valley Dodgers, is looking to make the sport accessible to junior players.

We are based in one of the lower socioeconomic areas of Wellington NZ and want to be able to offer fees-free access to sport for our girls and boys junior teams. Your donation would help cover the cost of a team including fees, uniforms and team kit.

Your donation goes towards our 8 junior teams. 1 team of 15 players costs $2700NZD for playing grounds rental, uniforms, a set of bases/gloves/bats etc and fees for a season.

Our stretch goal is to provide free food eg: bbqs / oranges / refreshments on the day for the juniors and their competitors.

Putting smiles on faces from getting out and running about as well as getting a good feed afterwards.

Use of funds

Paying for juniors fees, providing a uniform and covering the costs of the sports kit to play with.
