Giving misty a chance with training to live the best life she deserves
Auckland
2 years ago misty was given one day to find a home or she was going to the pound and being the breed she is we don’t want to even think what may of happend , Being a first time dog owner unaware of what I needed to do to protect her and give her a chance to be able to do the things a dog can and should be able to do, despite my finically position, my career and my relationship I was just a human who wanted to take the hurt away and bring some sunshine into her life , be the bridge between what was and what can be . I am the pathway to her new life . This hasn’t been a easy journey with life changes for myself and situations that misty has been apart of . This has been life changing to say the least before I even had a chance to understand what it takes to re build a recuse dog not only feed her , love her , snuggle and give her all the attention she needs but the battles of what she battles daily it’s put a massive hold on my life but we have come this far together misty has taught me something I never knew I needed and has never given up on me so I will not give up on her . Misty and I are facing two options : To be put to sleep and go to doggy heaven or to put money , time and dedication into obedience training . Rescue is not just a verb it’s a promise so we are day 1 of the next few months of training to give her the best life she deserves . It’s going to take a lot of hard work , sweat and tears but we are ready for the challenge
If we don’t reach our goal of what we need for the training and equipment we will need to just limit the amount of training she needs to fit our budget and will take a little bit longer for us to reach the goal we need to achieve
Obedience training with k9 total - weekly sessions with a trainer
Equipment needed for training
Main goal is to be able to work together to achieve what misty needs and give myself the opportunity to learn and understand steps and life changes
