Giving Stephen, Awien & Abuoch a chance at life

Even though we see over 40,000 patients a year in our clinic, we still do all we can to help the one that God sends us whose condition is too difficult for us to manage here in South Sudan. Every life is so precious!

Last week the hearts of our team were broken as we had 3 children present to our clinic with cancer. Knowing that there is no way they could survive without treatment at a cancer center in Uganda (there is no cancer center in South Sudan), we decided to try and fundraise to get them the medical care they need. The relatives of these precious kids are all contributing what they can by selling their livestock, and we are committed to trying to pay the rest.

Transport for each child and their parent to Uganda is $500 each way, and we anticipate the medical bills will be $1500-2000 each. Each family is trying to raise $200 (to put this in context 90% of South Sudanese live off less than $1.50/day). So we are trying to raise $7000 to save these kids lives.
