Giving the Moonsamys a chance

My dear brother Jared Moonsamy and his wife Kerisa are experiencing an extremely tough time. With an average of an hour's sleep a day for Kerisa and little more for Jared, its a situation that is not sustainable.

Their oldest child Jesse is 14 years old, in a wheel chair and non-verbal and needs full time care.

Their second child Zoe is 6 years old and is non-verbal autistic.

The parents are the only caregivers for the children with Jared working full time to support the family and helping out when home.

Jesse is 60kgs and needs to be bath changed and fed.

Zoe sleeps for short periods and at odd times and also needs bathing, changing and feeding. She doesn't stop moving when awake and Jared and Kerisa have converted the lounge of their one bedroom flat into a 'jungle gym' to keep her occupied.

Jesse also has an upcoming operation to correct his spine that is not funded in South Africa where they live.

Your contribution, no matter the size, will provide them with much-needed support with Jesse's operation, paying off debts so Jared can free up time to be with the kids and to purchase equipment to assist with the ongoing care of Jesse.

The hope is to give this dedicated family a chance at living as the needs of the kids, that they adore, evolves.
