The gift of chiropractic

Hi my name is Emma Stirton,

I am so excited to announce that I will be spending time in Haiti and the Dominican Republic to give health care to those who are in need of basic human necessities.

My greatest passions in life are to educate on health, give back, spread love and share chiropractic. If you’ve met me, you’ll know I’m inspired by human connection, and simple happiness’s in life. Previously I have spent 2 months volunteering in Nepal at an orphanage where we gave love, time and education to some amazing children. Caring for our older generations is also a great passion of mine, I believe we have so much to learn from our grandmothers and grandfathers. Simply being and spending time is a lost pass-time that I am working on re-igniting in our community.

My mission in life is to positively affect the lives of millions through connection, education, health care and love.

This coming mission trip I have the opportunity and skill set after 3 years of studying chiropractic to truly change people's lives and health via chiropractic care.

Chiropractic is a health care profession that works to reconnect the mind, brain, and body by removing interferences in the communication system in the body. Chiropractors all over the world are supporting individuals and families by adjusting their bodies and allowing their systems to function at an optimal state. Our profession, sometimes misunderstood, focuses on movement towards health, as opposed to, away from disease. It has the ability to positively change the way the brain functions allowing the body to spend energy on healing and optimal expression.

For most of the people in Haiti and the Dominican Republic, this exposure to chiropractic will be the only time in their lives they will have access to such care. That need has now increased with the recent hurricane, devastating the country with more than 475 people loosing their lives. The people of Haiti are reliant on us for help, now more than ever.

The chiropractic experience for the human body can have a life-changing power. I believe this change can be the stone that begins ripple effect. Through this ripple effect, chiropractic has the ability to affect the lives of millions.

I need your help to get there, to spend time and give health care to mothers, fathers, children, grandmothers, and grandfathers. Your donation is something that will help cover the costs for the chiromission-international fund, supplies needed for helping communities as well as means of getting to and from Haiti and the Dominican Republic. This will help with the continuation of this amazing gift that will touch the lives of many.
