Nicky and Bob are rowing 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean to raise money for frontline heroes and heroines rehabilitating from injury.
International
Nicky and Bob are rowing 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean to raise the profile of their chosen charity, Pilgrim Bandits (NZ), and to generate funds in support of our frontline heroes and heroines. Our voyage will take two months or more; will require at least 1.5 million oar strokes; and will see us battling huge waves as we travel from the Canary Islands to Antigua. Thank you for being a part of our campaign team!
The Glimmering Sea Trust has been established to help Nicky and Bob row the Atlantic Ocean for the purpose of raising the profile of Pilgrim Bandits, a charity that supports heroes and heroines who are struggling to overcome injuries and post-traumatic stress consequent of their frontline service.
Funds will be used for procurement of the boat, food, survival equipment, navigation aids, etc. On completion of the Atlantic Challenge, all assets will be liquidised and residual funds will be donated to the Pilgrim Bandits charity.
Our boat is inbound! 3 March 2024
Having recently completing her second Atlantic crossing, our Rannoch 25 rowing boat is now on its way back to the UK from Antigua. We expect her to arrive sometime in early to mid-April, and after inspection/any necessary repairs we’ll take possession and begin training. Exciting times… watch this space!
Nicky & Bob :)
Brendan, that is so generous. Thank you very much indeed… watch out for our updates, and of course the Club Pennant! Bob & Nicky ❤️
