Go For Jo! 21 Year olds Story

As a 13 year old girl Josephine lost her dad to a long battle against cancer, it was heart breaking, 9 Months after his passing, she started her own battle with cancer, Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL for short). Chemo, Radiation, bone marrow transplant, surgeries, feeding tubes, you name it this girl has had it. She had her teenage years stolen by hospitals rooms many trips to Auckland away from family, This has left her scared on the inside and the outside, she has a skin condition from complications of GVHD, it makes people stop in the streets to stare at her because she looks different, it has left her fighting anxiety and depression, being immune compromised has prohibited her from keeping a job as a teacher aid, Josephine was also diagnosed with li fraumeni syndrome which is is an inherited genetic mutation, which means people often develop cancer at an earlier age than expected and may be diagnosed with more than one cancer during their lifetime. she's kind and despite what she has been through she has a heart of gold,

So nearly 8 years later on 27th Jan 22, she has been diagnosed with early stage breast cancer the option the doctor has is to give her a double Mastectomy , Due to previous health issues and skin infections this has left her skins scared and are unable to do a reconstruction at this point in time this news of course messes with the anxiety and depression she is already fighting.
