Massive thankyou to all that have made donations to help with these gorgeous horses.

The give a little has officially closed. But if u want to keep seeing updates of the horses please head over to my FB page L M Goodall.

I will still be needing your amazing support and donations to continue helping the 9 horses I still have and the massive vet bill thanks to Leti unsuccessfully climbing an 8 wire fence and leaving hlf of her skin behind. She's doing really really well. Thanks again for all the love and support.

  • What a year 🏇

      12 December 2020

Well what a year we have had. So many ups and downs. I've lots 3 of my previous horses this year and a 4th one with bad injuries. I've rehomed a gorgeous little TB gelding to the best permanent home. And successfully rehabilitated others. It's been such a hard year for everyone and I'm so grateful for all the amazing supoy and loving donations. I have another massive massive vet bill so I'm hoping to get a few more donations before this give a little page closes in a few weeks. I may start another one but I'm unsure at this point. Please please share as much as u can and please follow my FB page LM GOODALL for more updates on the rescues and handovers. Again a massive thank u to all my loyal and dedicated supporters. Below is a picture of Leti after her last bandage change.

  • Crappy few weeks. 😖

So on top of having to get one of my beloved older girls Roxy PTS due to her age catching up on her. Leti was pushed thru a fence by one of the naughty standardbreed mares who are the boss of the paddocks. So poor Leti has got some very nasty cuts to her back legs. She was ready for Re-homeimg and will now be with us for longer than expected. Fortunately there's no serious damage thank goodness. So we now have another massive vet bill along with needing xtra feed for her and medical supplies to change her bandages. I'm so grateful for this give a little page bc all your donations and support have been our saving grace. Please please 🙏 keep sharing and donating so I keep helping these gorgeous horses. ❤️

  • Lots of grass

      3 November 2020
    Main image

Yay the grass has come away nicely. Unfortunately it's making a few of the horses craycray. Lots expensive suppliments and special hard feed just to help there tummys. Everyone has got good weight on and I'm hoping it stays that way. We are going to have another drought this summer so I'm hoping to stock up on more hay and hayledge. So please keep the donations coming. They have literally been life savers for a few of the horses.

Although this year has been horrible and really hard I'm thankful for all my beautiful supporters and the horse just make it all worth it. Picture below is Leti saying hello.

Please keep sharing this give a little page and keep helping me help them ♥️

We discovered yesterday that the two new handover SB mares Eevee and Ruby love water. We all got very wet.

They are so happy with their hayledge and are all doing very well.

Thanks again to all who have kindly donated and have been so supportive. You have made it alot easier for me this year with all the crazy stuff going on.

Please keep sharing and following us for more updates ❤️

  • Awesome donation.

This weekend we had 6 yummy big hayledge bails delivered for free. Can't thank all involved enough. The horses are loving it. They are so spoilt now. Makes it all worthwhile. Still have a large vet and farrier bill and still need to get a coupl of their teeth done. But we are getting there slowly. Looking forward to summer and bring everyone into work. Of anyone is keen to come brush a few or experienced enough to come help me bring them into work please let me know. They are just loving life right now thanks to all you beautiful supporters. ♥️

I am blown away by people's generosity this month. The donations have been amazing and we couldn't be happier. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH 💓

With the amount we are getting I should be able to stock up on hay and feed for the coming summer. And with another drought looming it's very important that I do. Please keep sharing and following the horses journeys. Your welcome to check out my FB rescue page LM GOODALL RE-HOMEIMG. We hope everyone is copeing in this horrible pandemic and are staying safe.

    Thanks again everyone 😄

  • Oh crap 🤦

      13 August 2020

Well it looks like we are heading into another lockdown and level 4 is looming. As we are part of the Auckland district we are in level 3 as of yesterday which ment no work for us therefore no hay, only a few bags of feed vet farrier and other bills won't be getting paid on time. I had no chance to get xtra work and make enough money to stock up on what the horses need. So I'm asking please share as much as u can. Even if 50 people donated $1 a week we would be on top of everything and I could help more horses. I'm up to 10 again because I took on two gorgeous standardbreed brood mares. They are altra sweet and have fortunately come from amazing owners who give all there x race horses every chance possible for a good life. Picture of Ruby (may already have a home) and Sparrow below.

Massive thank you to everyone who has donated and shared already it's been amazing to know there's such generous people out there. ♥️

  • New Grazing 😄

      27 July 2020

We finally have some more Grazing and can have most of the horses back together. We are so happy and so lucky. Plenty of grass and lots of great paddocks. Thank you to everyone who donated over the past few months its been a blessing. It's so lovely to know we have so many amazing supporters. Bettwen farrier, feed, hay, supplements, equine dentest and other day to day expenses of having rescue horses it been very encouraging. I've added a few more picks to the album so you can see all the yummy grass.

Bellow is a picture of a very happy healthy Kaz 😘

  • Happy horses 🤗

I'm trying to do updates more often. I'm not fabulous at it 😂

The horses are all doing so well. With this warm winter we are having up here the paddocks are all still pretty solid under foot which is great. Grass still seams to be growing. We are still getting a few little donations here and there which has been so helpful considering the state of finanes thanks to covid 19. So I'm so grateful for anything that comes in helps. Unfortunately I can't seem to get anymore work as alot of my clients have lost jobs and or had cutbacks. So getting the

feed, hay, hayledge is very difficult and keeping the vet and farrier happy has been hard work. Fingers crossed all the horses stay healthy and we don't get anymore vet emergencies. We still have two up for Re-homeimg soon. Kaz and kobie will be ready in a few months once kobie has had his teeth done and kaz has been ridden a few more times.

Thanks again to everyone that has been supportive, encouraging and giving donations where you can. ❤️

  • Kaz update 💥

      22 June 2020
    Main image

I thought everyone would like to see an update on kaz. He is back with use due to the young girl we homed him to not being able to afford two horses. Was a heartbreaking decision for her but the right one. And we have loved having him back. He is just doing so well and is full of life and a very happy loveing boy. The donations have been very important for the horses like him that I have in my care. Still have 8 horses and almost no work it's been a blessing to have a few donations to top us up.

  • Still chugging along

      16 June 2020

Despite losing most of my Grazing land and not one but two of our own beloved horses :(

We are still going. All the horses seam to be doing well. We have had a couple of donations which we are really REALLY greatful for ❤️. I can't thank my supporters and helpers enough👍. We still have very little money coming in for feed and bills. We are struggling but everyone had been really patient with us. If anyone knows where to get some good cheap hay please let me know.

  • Sad news

      14 May 2020
    Main image

Over lockdown we had pretty much no funds coming in. Fortunately the grass came away and the horses where ok. But I lost my main block of grazing land because it became unsafe for the horses. I lost my own beloved mare Dainty lass there and I'm totally heartbroken. Now the vet bill has skyrocketed up again.

On a happy note Dante the little chestnut has been successfully Re-homed to an awesome permanent home. We have a returne Kaz through no fault of his own. The covid19 has become tough on everyone. All the rest of the horses are doing really well coming into winter. Fingers crossed I can find more permanent Grazing locally and we have no more decasters.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated it means so much to me and the horses. I hope everyone comes out the other side of this covid19 safely and in good health.

RIP Dainty lass. Pic of her bellow :(

  • Quite time's

      21 April 2020

Its been quite here with the horses over lockdown. I was very sick the first two weeks (kidney issues) so couldn't get out to them daylie. Fortunately they are on grazing with very caring landowners. Since being back on my feet its been nice spending a bit more time with them they are all doing exceptionally well. All have great weight and healthy condition. The thinner two have piled it on. One has even got an amazing home lined up. Yay. Unfortunately I have had no work and won't be able to for another 3 to 4 weeks so the budget is tight. The donations that came in where awesome and I've still got a few bails of hay left that I got with a last lot of donations. I am so very grateful for that. There hasn't been anymore come in over the last month which has been totally understandable with the covid happening and I wouldn't ask for any. Thankgoodnes the grass is growing and the water is flowing so am not needing to feed them hand over fist. I hope that everyone is staying safe in there bubbles and fingers crossed we can get things moving again soon. Here's a pick of one of Dante with one of the family members who can't wait to bring him home. He's such a happy boy. ( Yes we practiced social distancing) 👍

  • BUSY BUSY 🐎

      29 February 2020
    Main image

we have been crazy busy here. With there being a scary drought and no grass anywhere. All my paddocks are down to dirt. I have been carting water back and forth constantly. The horses are very hungry and I'm going through so much hay and hard feed. So the donations have so amazing they have just helped top things up.

On a happy note another horse Magic has found a great new home. Yay for Magic. I'm loving getting updates from the new horsey mums. And we also have two new arrivals today. A big dark bay boy Kobie and a little lad TJ. They are both TBs (ex race horses) are a both very sweet. I'm now up to 8 horses again. Ekkk 😱

So the donations mean more than anyone will know.

Please keep sharing and donating so I can keep helping these beautiful horses.

Thank you so much from me and the horses for your time and donations 💗💗💖💖
