Unexpected loss of a hardworking and generous man who had a heart of gold.

Waikato

Steven (Foxy) Whitfield passed suddenly 21/11/23 from a cardiac arrest. Family are shocked to loose their only brother. He is now with his older sister, mum and dad. He was a very generous and loving man who always put himself last. He lived each day to the fullest, always enjoyed helping people and would give his shirt of his back to help anyone.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause. R.I.P Foxy. I fondly remember and appreciate the good times and conversations we had back when I was living in Hamilton quite some time ago now. You were a top bloke who was always up for a good time but what I also liked was how you were not afraid to share some of your wisdom with others or tell someone what you thought of them. I was devastated to hear of your passing last week and my condolences go to Foxy’s family and friends. I hope this donation helps. Cheers, Jake
