GRACE NEEDS MEDICAL TREATMENT FOR MULTIPLE CHRONIC HEALTH CONDITIONS.

  • Updated goal for Gracie's treatments

    Grace has to see six specialists for diagnosis, and subsequent treatments, including medications and procedures. The first $4950 (minus fees) will be used for the first specialist for his appointments and the first procedure. Grace needs alot more donations/support to ensure she receives the care she deserves. The public health system has let her down for 20 years, and unfortunately she can only receive the care she needs through the private system. Grace has so much appreciation for every donation and message she receives xx

  • Update for Crohn's diagnosis

    Grace is going to have a diagnostic procedure at Wakefield on 29/6, with Dr Rees Cameron, to confirm the diagnosis of Crohn’s, and to work out a treatment plan with medications and future procedures, to help Grace to live with Crohn's/IBD. The initial procedure is approximately $3200 and needs to happen immediately, then the subsequent treatment. The GP will then refer to Grace's next specialist, so she needs all the support available out there, thank you xx

  • A plan for Gracie xx

    Grace attended her first specialist apt this week, with Rees Cameron @ Wakefield, who has ordered a test for Grace to be able to ascertain whether she has IBS or Crohn's disease/Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Grace will then have an invasive procedure to confirm the diagnosis (over $2000 private). Grace is to see a nutritionist to commence a whole new diet, low in FODMAPs. This is going to be a huge adjustment for Grace, who will need a lot of support. She will be attending a 6 month program, with monthly appointments with a Nutritionist, with a cost of over $3000. Appreciate your continued support :):)

  • Referrals/Plan made

    A referral for the Gastro Specialist was made yesterday, along with a referral to a pain programme. Next week, another referral will be made, depending on the priority of Gracie's current health concerns. Thank you so much for the continued support, from Gracie xx

  • Diagnosis of health conditions

    Givealittle have been sent all of Grace's medical reports confirming the diagnosis of her multiple health conditions discussed in the main post. I am happy to answer questions in regard to any of her conditions, just send me a message. Grace is really appreciative for all of the donations and positive comments and love being sent.     Gracie has been awaiting some lab results and now has an appointment with her GP next week, to initiate the first Specialist referrals, firstly the Gastroenterologist, the Dermatologist, then the Specialist for CRPS. Thank you to y'all who have donated and are supporting Gracie xx
