Hello my name is Graeme. I had a stroke three years ago which left me unable to walk. I have been recovering ever since and many people have supported and helped me.
I used to be a marathon runner, and really enjoyed a challenge. On 28 July (weather permitting) I am going to walk up Ohope Hill, and then down again. It is about 2.5km. I have practised going up (once) but not down. It might take me 4 hours! Please sponsor me. I want to raise money to support the people who have helped me such as Te Koru Rehab at Whakatane Hospital. I also want to help people in the same boat as me who have had strokes, so I am raising money for the Stroke Foundation too.
