Grandad's Dodgy Roof

My recently bereaved Grandad Harold has not long ago had his roof replaced in the UK. Unfortunately the contractors he hired took advantage of his tough situation and the fact he is older and have done a con job, only securing his new roof down with sealant, unsafe and they have taken his money only to become uncontactable. Now the roof is rapidly coming loose in the rough UK weather, having to be fully replaced and repaired again by a different contractor. This is hitting his pocket hard meaning he is having to find £5000 (about $10,000 nzd) to replace the roof to a safe standard. He lives alone and has a very small income, so he needs help.

Being so far away and on the other side of the world, Covid prevented our whole family from being there for my grandad after my Nana passed, we were unable to attend the funeral and we want to do something to help as we are unable to cover the costs ourselves. My nana was the heart of our family and he lost his best friend.
