Grandparents lose everything to fire
This page is set up to support Mark, Annette and family through the loss of their home right on Christmas
Christchurch, Canterbury
Early in the morning on December 23rd Mark, Annette, and their family of 8 woke to their house in flames.
Thankfully due to working smoke alarms everyone made it out safe, sadly their pets did not.
Mark and Annette tragically lost their daughter Renee in a car accident 3 years ago. In a cruel twist of fate the day of the fire marked 3 years since her funeral.
Mark who is a jack of all trades and Annette who works in aged care, care full time for their 4 grandchildren Ordane 17, Nation 13, Race 12 and Atlas 6.
They are generous, kind people who have worked tirelessly to provide for their grandchildren and are now facing Christmas with nothing.
Even though they are insured, we all know at this time of year things move slowly. Would be good to help ease the pressure especially at this time of year.
