Jack (11) Shaving Hair For His Pop (78)

Jack's Pop suffers greatly from prostate cancer. Jack is shaving his hair to fundraise $550+ to help upgrade Pop's shower so he can use it.

Jack's Pop (78) was diagnosed with prostate cancer in January 2019. In the last few months, it has really taken hold in other areas of his body and he is experiencing a great deal of pain. This makes it very difficult for Pop to move around. It is now impossible for him to get in and out of the shower unaided as the shower is in a small bath. Jack's Grandma has enquired about funding for the shower to be upgraded for Pop. Unfortunately, there is no such funding from the local DHB for him. This means his Grandma and Pop need to raise the funds themselves.

Jack (11) is choosing to help by shaving his hair (number 1) in his honour and attempting to fundraise at least $550. He loves his hair but he loves his Pop more!

A few weeks ago, the deed was done! Jack let Broz and I shave off most of Jack's much-loved hair. Well done buddy!! Pop and all of us are so proud of you :-)
