Grant Siblings take on the World

We are 3 out of 5 children in our family who come from a small town called Gisborne. We live here with our mum, dad and 2 other brothers; Kered (16yrs old) & Kash-Zaydyn (1yr old).

Ash introduced us to R.O.A, our Maori Martial Arts Club in 2010, 1yr after he began. It was our coaches whom got us into Muay Thai. We have now been training and competing for 2yrs and we love it.

Last year Ashlay & Braedyn made the team and traveled to Malaysia for the worlds. They both returned home with not only the experience and exposure BUT also medals. Ashlay with a Silver for his weight division and Braedyn with a Bronze for his weight division.

It was a hard slog getting the 2 boys to Malaysia last year, but with the help of our sponsors, club, family and friends we were able to get there. This year we are pleased our little sister made the squad. Alizay has been doing Maori Martial Arts with R.O.A since she was 5yrs old. She is the youngest of us three and this will be her first time representing the country.
