Dads trip of a lifetime, living life to the fullest, with no regrets!
Cambridge, Waikato
As many of you know, our extremely brave Dad, Gerrard, has recently received devastating news about his health. Barely a month ago, we learned he has stage 4 cancer, and just this past Monday, we were told it's time for him to get his affairs in order and focus on making beautiful memories while he still can.
Dad has always been our pillar of strength, exemplifying an unwavering work ethic as he continues to work hard at 71 and has a spirit of generosity that knows no bounds, often placing our dreams before his own. His kindness and love have profoundly shaped us, and we take immense pride in being his children. In every moment, he has given everything for our happiness.
As we come to terms with this reality, we want to give Dad the gift of unforgettable experiences. Our first destination is the UK, where he will be with his youngest son, Tama, Tash, and his grand babies. We know how much joy being surrounded by loved ones brings him, and we hope to make the most of the time we have.
We are reaching out for support during this challenging season. Your daily prayers, homemade meals, offers to help, phone calls, and comforting words mean the world to us. The many hugs and expressions of kindness you have shown have provided solace that lingers long after.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you. Your compassion and support will help us cherish this time with Dad and create lasting memories. Please know that your love and kindness are invaluable to our family during this time.
We are Dads children, forever entwined.
We want to give Dad the gift of unforgettable experiences. Our first destination is the UK, where he will be with his youngest son, Tama, Tash, and his grand babies.
Funds will go towards flights, accommodation and any adventures eg: taking the Grandkids out, exploring with his son, daughter and grandkids and hopefully visiting friends along the way.
