Green Bay Community House Break in fund

$780 of $1,500 goal
Given by 27 generous donors in 4 weeks

After a break in on March 18, we seek donations to cover a $1,000 insurance excess and replace stolen items essential to our community work.

Green Bay, Auckland

On March 18th, the Green Bay Community House suffered a break-in. Vital items, including electronics, cash, and other resources that support our community, were stolen.

While we do have insurance, the excess is $1,000, and due to the age of some items, their full replacement value is not covered. This has created a significant shortfall in restoring the tools we need to continue serving our community.

As a charitable organisation, all of our funds are dedicated to supporting the people we serve. This theft has been a major blow, and we are reaching out for help. We kindly ask for small donations from our community to help bridge the gap and replace these essential items.

About us

We provide our community with a space that offers Manaakitanga, Whanaungatanga and

aroha. From our small space we achieve magical mahi, and connect our community through learning, friendships, crafts, fitness and a variety of events and activations.

Use of funds

The funds will go towards the cost of the insurance excess and replacing the shortfall not covered by insurance.
