We are so grateful for all the donations received so far 🙏🏼 our fundraiser is over half-way to our target of ✨ $20,000!!! ✨⭐️

Hamish plus his team of family, friends, and kind strangers have been flat out for almost 3 weeks now - cleaning a centimetre of mud off every item of clothing, crockery, etc that might be salvaged. Boards have been taken off walls to allow them to dry out, mould being treated, blistered paint is being stripped, and damage being removed ready to be replaced. Mum has done a million loads of washing, pressure-hosing off every item first before it can go in the machine. The Hilux ute (incredibly) powered up after some mechanical medicine 🤩 those vehicles are TOUGH. However, the mud and mould in the interior is another project. It's been estimated that two out of three houses flooded in Lismore will have to be demolished - a staggering catastrophe. Hamish and Ramona will eventually be able to return home, but this will be a long way off. We'd be so grateful if you could continue to react, comment, and share our posts on Facebook to enable more kind hearts to be reached who might be moved to contribute and support them to rebuild their lives. Thank you, friends.

  • The water has receded

We're already up to $3000 🤯😍🥰 THANK YOU, thank you, to every one of you. Every dollar is precious, and so appreciated.

Hamish managed to go back to the house yesterday, and begin the long cleanup. The water went about ⅔ of the way up all the walls. Every appliance, piece of furniture, item of clothing, linen, food etc was submerged, and there's mud everywhere. Your kind words are so uplifting - thank you for taking the time to write a note to Hamish and Ramona.
