I leave at the end of next week so its really busy. I have increased my swim training to 8 times a week so that's about 16hours in the water. Also doing one gym and one Pilates session a week still. Feeling busy as also trying to get ahead of school work and prepare that for going away. I am doing NCEA level 1 so have a few internals at the moment. Teachers are being really supportive and all my coaches are helping as well. Thanks to Fi my Swim coach who guides everything and gets me ready to do PBs.

Hi, I have just been to may last swim meet before going to Worlds. It was in Dunedin so we left Friday and raced Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. Great meet with getting a couple of PBs and getting into two finals with able bodied swimmers of my age so that was cool. All good practice and now counting down till I go. Here is a picture with me and some swimmers from Wanaka Swim Club stretching and warming up.

    Hi everyone,

Thank you so much for your help and donations. Every bit helps me get to Florida for the camp and then on to Worlds in Glasgow.

I am training well with only 38 more swim training sessions until I leave. I am swimming at Queens Birthday Meet in Dunedin in 2 weeks so that will be a good chance to have a few practice races and check my progress.

I will send you updates as time goes on but thanks heaps for your support. Here is a picture with me and the team going to Worlds which was taken at NZ Opens.

    Hamish.
