Harry needs travel insurance to cover Hydrocephalus and Epilepsy

Harry is an awesome 9 year old Kiwi Kid with a neurological condition and epilepsy, which we need to insure while attending an important family event in Canada.

Harry had Neurosurgery when he was 3 weeks old for a condition called Hydrocephalus, (which is 'water on the brain'). He was given a shunt, which tubes the excess water out of his brain all the way out his skull down to his tummy, underneath his skin. He needed this operation again when he was 5 weeks old.

Harry's health has been good ever since then, apart from the onset of epilepsy.

As Harry needs to go and visit family in Canada for a wedding, we need to insure him so that should the worst happen, his medical care will be assured.

There is only one provider in New Zealand who will insure Harry's condition for his travels, for the princely sum of $1318. We, his parents, would not take him overseas without travel insurance to cover him. We would not want to end up like some other unfortunate cases of people on Givealittle who travel, have an emergency, then can't pay their bills.

Please help us cover the cost of Harry's travel insurance so that he can enjoy attending the Canadian wedding that he needs to get to.
