Having to say goodbye to a man’s best friend ( doggo)

As a lot of my friends and family know it’s not been an easy year for me. Between mental and physical health kicking my arse. Alfie’s been beside my side though out it all. But unfortunately old age and bad health has now caught up with him. And with a heavy heart I’ve mad the decision to put him down. He hasn’t had an easy life with the fact he was the runt of the litter and his own mother ate his tail and he was going to get shot. So I chose him as why not and was the best decision I made. He spent the first few years as a farm dog helping with getting cows in. And finding every bit of cow shit he could eat. And the odd car tire as you know border collies 🤣🤣. But as he got older he slowed down and spent the last 5 years been an inside dog. Watching the fire burn and occasionally tripping people up as he tried to help.eye sight fading but his puppyness didn’t But now it’s time for one last rest. But with me been off work this is not only emotionally stressful but also financially too
