On the 22nd January 2022 we lost one of the most epic humans, the one and only Hayden (Hayd's, Bakes) Baker.

Hayden was loved by so many, but most of all by his soul mate Cath and their precious children Ella, Tom, Lucia and Olivia.  Bakes sudden passing has left an unimaginable hole in their lives and has flipped their world upside down.

We want to allow Cath the space to grieve with her children and remove as much additional stress as possible. Therefore as Cath's close friends we have set up this page to support the family as they navigate their way through the coming days, weeks and months without their adored husband and Dad.

The funds will go to Cath and will be used for the family's future, we thank you so much for your support at this devastating time.

To all our wonderful family, friends and work colleagues of Hayden,

Thank you all so much for your kind and heartfelt messages of love and support during this sad and difficult time.

We have been blown away by your generosity to help us with our life going forward. Its such a testament to the amazing man we miss each day. Hayden’s love, guidance and memories will endure and his spirit in our little children goes on.

I aim to eventually get back to thank you all individually but until then,

Living abroad and not knowing many of Bakes friends myself, I’ve only just found out this devastating news so sorry for the delay in contributing. Hayden was my marketing tutor at uni for a few years and we hit it off the day we met. He was such a genuine guy, funny, intelligent and great to be around. Despite losing contact after he moved abroad, we had reconnected in recent years with a shared love of marketing geekery. I will really miss not having him there to talk to, ask advice of or just catch up with when I’m back in NZ. Taken far too soon - my love goes out to Cath and his beautiful kids whom he couldn’t stop talking about whenever I saw him. Much love xxx
