We spent over $20K last year getting her ready for the Navy celebrations and we need funding to finish off the last of the work for her.
Northland
Keith and I bought HDML Paea in 2008 in Picton and bought her to Auckland. We have spent considerable time and money keeping her in top condition, and we spent all of 2016 working on her and were honoured to be included in the NZ Navy's 75th anniversary celebrations in Auckland last November. We were not able to haul her out last year (due to weather and booking schedule), so we now need to get this last important lot of work done, painting the hull, putting on the antifoul, with the last few tiddly bits (locker doors, rebuild rope lockers) to be done.
Cost of haulout and hardstand fees (at least $5K), antifoul and paint ($5K) and other incidentals (that always arise when working on a boat of this size!)
