Helping a work mate out by shaving my hair and raising money while he fights Hodgkins Lymphoma.
Auckland
My colleague Chris was recently diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. It has affected the nodes on both sides of his neck, right armpit and there is a mass currently pushing on his windpipe.
Anyone who has encountered 'The Big C' knows that chemo and treatment can be especially gruelling on the body and finances especially when your support options are limited.
So I reached out to Chris and offered to give him a hand by shaving off my hair to raise money to help ease the financial burden he is currently facing by not being able to work.
He is a plumber/gas-fitter by trade and is just an all-round good guy who totally deserves any and all support he can get at this time. Lets help our mate get back on his feet!
Chris will be shaving my head on April 28th which is his birthday!
Chris is a colleague of mine and was recently diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. He's a great mate who needs a bit of support at this time so he can focus on his health and getting through Chemotherapy.
All the money will go to Chris to support him whilst he goes through Chemo.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, it really means a lot. Having one less thing to worry about is a big relief so I can get on with healing and not worry about missing work or any bills that come my way. THANK YOU! ~Chris
