Kalais was born on September 26 with several heart defects. He has left heart syndrome, which affects blood flow through the heart. He was also born with a hole in his heart and no left ventricle - the part of the organ which pumps oxygenated blood through the body.

We have been told by Starship Hospital that they could not operate on our pēpi as they didn't anticipate him getting any better. They told us to go home and prepare baby for palliative care. It wasn't the outcome we were prepared for.

Lots of people have been asking how and what is the best way they can support us. We thought setting up a give a little page would help us best especially for the tough times we may face.

This give a little is being set up to help support Lovey and Dshay for the tough times ahead of us.

Use of funds

These koha will help us cover the cost for our baby to travel safely arrival back to Te Reinga when that time comes.
