Heart to Heart

This is a fundraiser to resource our dear friend Caroline who is on extended leave from the outer world as she leans into a deep healing journey.

This is very personal for Caroline and we hold her softly in our hearts and minds as we journey with her into this sacred landscape.

We aim to generate a closely connected network of trusted care. Please share this invitation using hand written letters, email, telephones or face-to-face conversations. This is not a social media campaign.

From Caroline

To my family and friends…

I am honoured to be face to face with life, death and re-birth in the most visceral and intimate way, through a health expression in my body.

The medical definition for the dis-ease I am working with is “recurrent high grade serious carcinoma of tubo-ovarian origin”, or in other words, ovarian cancer.

This unexpected ‘gift’ was discovered in June 2019. Huge progress has been made in transforming the situation using chemotherapy, surgery, quantum healing, acupuncture, cranio-sacral therapy, Ren Xue practices (including qi gong and qi healing), flower essences, diet, herbal medicines, supplements, friendship, ancestral healing, shamanic ritual, prayer, equine therapy, laughter, dance and other healing modalities.

There is more to be done to bring balance within my body. At this time, the journey calls me even deeper to my inner life, to transform this pattern from it’s source.

My work of the outer life has stopped for now, until this inner process is complete.

Healing is a deeply personal process. It took some strong encouragement from Miranda and Elisabeth for me to extend this request for help to my community.

This is not because I don’t want you close, but actually because I want you truly closer! I mean, I want to meet you here, where I am, in this quiet, still place - heart to heart. I am inviting you to the kind of togetherness that can dissolve the fear that naturally arises when our human instinct for survival is triggered. Can we cut through the haze of distress our society holds about that we have named ‘cancer’, and discover something new together?

This is invitation to co-create within the invisible, yet powerful field of trust and love that is at the heart of this raw, personal transformation journey.

I have learned that this dis-ease is an expression of the pattern of ‘separation’. Cancer cells have forgotten they are part of a greater whole. They have forgotten how to surrender and contribute to this community of communities that we call our ‘body’.

The true medicine for this condition, is that which unifies – our whole body, mind, heart, soul, spirit, true self, earth mother, sky father, all of Life.

My every day life is within the sacred temple for this process of unification and personal regeneration.

I am blessed to be living with Saphira, Whisky (our pony) and Buddy (our cat), in our new home on a spacious farm and forested land in Waimauku, Auckland. We are with Brigitte and Douglas (and their two horses, Gingy and Indie) within the magic of their creation, the Anam Cara Sanctuary.

While I am here, Lucy-Mary, Pennie and Michelle are leading the ongoing work of Cabal, with our many partners and collaborators.

Thank you for your support during this remarkable time. I am grateful to my core.

It is my hope that in this, we will all experience something fresh about the power of love and unity.

I was talking about this with my dear friend Bill, and he asked, how might we, all of us, grow the positive energy field together?

As the earth turns each day, there is a special time in the half hour before the sun appears over the horizon, and again, in the half hour after the sun disappears below the horizon. Twilight.

At this time of day, I will be in my healing practices. Join me, from wherever you are. Practice your practice, in your place, bringing the intent of connecting in the field of love that unifies us as family and friends.

Whether your practice is prayer, dance, song, golf, laughing yoga or meditation - for one moment, one minute, ten minutes or longer – allow twilight to provide you with a still point. Set the intention to connect within the positive qi (energy) field. Be open. Receive love and wisdom. Offer love and wisdom. Receive love and wisdom.
