Heartland Cottage is a animal rescue rehabilitation center, where the neurodiverse/ disability community train and rehabilitate animals.

Heartland Cottage is a animal rescue rehabilitation center and a place for the community to Rehab,Retrain,Rehome animals find a love for learning and enjoy our special animals. Heartland Cottage is a very unique space where the Disability community and general public can come to learn about sustainable farming practices and interact with our special animals. Our Valais Blacknose sheep, Scottish Highland Cow, Kune Kune Pigs, Silky Chickens, and so many more await your visit. It takes a minimum of $10,000 per month to run Heartland Cottage feed bill, with wild birds coming in by the 100s monthly.

The Heartland Cottage team have spend years educating and upskilling to keep costs down but unfortunately we cant do everything, so we regularly require help from our amazing vet care teams often due to malnutrition animal abuse and wildlife requiring urgent help. Due to the severe cases we receive. Very donation means the world to all the Heartland Cottage community!
