Heartstrings - Hoods for the homeless

My name is Kitty and I am a first year social work student with a passion for crochet and helping others. Heartstrings is a concept I have come up with to help those sleeping rough to do so in a little more comfort/warmth by supplying handmade crochet hoods/balaclavas.

I am aiming to launch next winter and have at least 100 hoods made. These take 5 hours to make by hand and I will be aiming to make at least 2 per week once the summer holidays roll around. I will also be enlisting the help of other crocheters to boost these numbers.

All donations will go towards yarn/supplies needed to make the hoods
