Helen urgently needs your help to pay for this life saving treatment, (Pembrolizumab) not funded by our government

My dear sister Helen has been diagnosed with Triple negative breast cancer. She had chemo and radiotherapy which ended in 2021, and has been well for the last two years. Unfortunately, Helen found out last week, it has returned, and another tumour was found under her pectoralis muscle and next to her rib. Sadly, Helen is unable to have radiotherapy as the cancer is too close to her heart. This is an extemely agressive cancer and the only option she has to survive is an unfunded immunotherapy treatment that will cost over $100,000. Please help out my sister to raise enough money to enable her to pay for this medication. She will have to stop work and will not have enough money to get by on. Helen has just welcomed her first grandchild into her family and she would really love to see her grow up. Thank you for reading and your generosity.

Merry Xmas 15 December 2023
Hi everyone, just wanted to update you in my progress. I finished my IV chemo in August and it had really helped to shrink the tumours in my lymph nodes and chest wall so they were looking at giving my more radiotherapy to try and shrink down the remainder but within 4 weeks the tumour had mutated into a really aggressive type again that was like and octopus and came back all over my skin, chest wall again and all my lymph nodes- my oncologist said she had never seen it come back so quickly- I feel it’s been so typical of my journey. So started immediately in oral chemo which is giving me a few weird side effects but hopefully will help to control things a little bit. It’s just such a roller coaster ride at the moment. Anyway just wanted to say I appreciate everyone for their help this year and so appreciate you all. Have a wonderful Xmas and New Year. Hoping 2024 is good for all of us xxxxx
